Join the Vinh Long Outlaws Association (VLOA)
To: Former Members of All U.S. Army Aviation Organizations Whose “Outlaws” Lineage Emerged from
the 62nd Aviation Company (11th Air Assault Division, Vietnam, & Iraq) and Their Attached Units
The VLOA was organized in 1999 with the intention of holding a one-time reunion to renew old friendships formed between the unit’s officers, warrant officers, and enlisted members. During that reunion, attendees voted unanimously to continue holding reunions biennially, and have done so. During the 2008 Outlaws’ reunion, numerous inquiries resulted in a change to the constitution to open the VLOA to all follow-on Outlaws units whose lineage derived from the original 62nd Aviation Company (Viet Nam) “Outlaws,” “Mavericks,” “Roadrunners,” 28th Signal Detachment, and 25th ID “doorgunners.” Planning is finalized for the 2010 Outlaw Nashville Roundup at the Radisson Hotel at Opryland, Nashville, TN for October 7-11, 2010. The VLOA is open to all ranks from the following Outlaws units and their attachments: 62nd Aviation Company (Viet Nam), A Company 502nd Aviation Battalion (Viet Nam), 175th Assault Helicopter Company (Viet Nam), B Troop 1st Battalion-158th Aviation Regiment (Iraq), 150th Transportation Detachment (Viet Nam), 28th Signal Detachment (Viet Nam), and 25th Infantry Division’s Doorgunner Detachment (Viet Nam). If you would like to join the VLOA or know someone that might do so, please use the VLOA Membership Form provided below to do so.
The VLOA needs our members' help. Your dues are the financial underpinning that keeps our website and quarterly newsletters funded and continuing. Please support the VLOA by renewing your membership ($25 annually) each January or by joining as a Life Member ($100 one time payment). Additional membership categories are available. Additionally, all donations to and for the use of the VLOA are tax-exempt, based on IRS approval of the VLOA as a 501(c)19 war veterans' organization.

An initial Active VLOA membership is $25.00, with annual renewal of $25.00 due each January thereafter. A Lifetime Membership is a $100.00 one-time payment.
